This role focuses on cybersecurity systems administration for classified systems and networks within the defense sector. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and security implementation for networking infrastructure, with a focus on OSI model layers. The role requires a Secret security clearance and specific certifications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Installation and configuration of cyber monitoring equipment, troubleshooting, networking design, and implementing security measures for the networking infrastructure
  2. Documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps
  3. Working with software developers and/or vendors as needed to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during system integration
  4. Providing redlines to engineers and feedback to Leadership will be required as part of this position’s responsibilities.
  5. Briefings to the government customer on current health and status of the monitoring system as needed

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience
  • Current, active in-scope U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance
  • Current 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (ex: Security + CE)
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
