Wix is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Data team. The role involves owning analytics for a product domain, turning data into insights and recommendations, analyzing user behavior and experiments, and contributing to data quality and self-serve tools. The analyst will use SQL, Python, and AI tools to reduce dependency and increase impact. This is a hands-on role focused on product insight and business impact, working closely with Product Managers and UX.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own analytics for a product domain and develop deep understanding of its users, flows, KPIs, and business goals
  2. Turn product and business questions into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  3. Analyze funnels, cohorts, experiments, product behavior, and growth opportunities
  4. Define, maintain, and challenge KPI logic and measurement frameworks
  5. Work closely with Product Managers, UX to improve decision-making and product direction

Skills

Required

  • Proven experience in a data, product, analytics, engineering or similar role
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Working knowledge of Python and comfort using it for analysis, automation, or data work
  • Familiarity with Git and comfort working with modern development / collaboration workflows
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience turning data into insights and recommendations, not just outputs
  • Good understanding of product and online business metrics, including funnels, retention, cohorts, segmentation, and experimentation
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive work forward
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Comfort working on ambiguous product questions and structuring them into analysis

Nice to have

  • Experience working close to data models, event schemas, or self-serve analytics
  • Experience with AI tools in analysis or workflow automation
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks or experimentation analysis
