This role is for a Data Analyst Senior Analyst within Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice, focusing on project delivery. The responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to define analytics needs, translating them into Agile work items, providing ad-hoc analysis and reporting, supporting recurring analyses, and coordinating UAT and release activities. The role requires strong analytical thinking, SQL proficiency, experience with BI tools like Tableau/Power BI, structured storytelling, and familiarity with Snowflake. The team focuses on building and operating data and AI platforms and solutions for clients.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to intake, clarify, and document analytics needs (problem statements, scope, assumptions, success metrics/KPIs).
  2. Translate needs into Agile/SAFe-ready work: epics/features/user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint-ready backlog items; support sprint planning/reviews/retros and cross-team coordination.
  3. Provide ad-hoc analysis and “quick-turn” reporting (directional insights, quick views) and, where appropriate, build lightweight dashboards in Tableau/Power BI; collaborate with BI/reporting developers to industrialize high-usage reporting.
  4. Support recurring analyses/reports (monthly/biweekly/weekly as applicable): define requirements, validate outputs with stakeholders, and maintain runbooks.
  5. Coordinate/support UAT and release/change activities (dependency tracking, risk/issue management, stakeholder comms) aligned to our client's standards and governance processes.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ Years Experience in Analytics + data skills: strong analytical thinking; ability to frame ambiguous questions; SQL proficiency for querying/validating datasets; strong Excel
  • 4+ Years Experience with BI tooling: hands-on Tableau and/or Power BI (building or enhancing reports/dashboards); understanding of metrics/KPI definitions and dashboard usability
  • 4+ Years Experience in Structured Storytelling abilities in PPT
  • 4+ Years Experience Familiarity with Snowflake
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with modern data platforms/warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Stakeholder management: crisp communication, expectation-setting, and ability to handle high-volume ad-hoc requests with clear prioritization and turnaround commitments.
