Data Analytics Quality Engineer

This role focuses on quality engineering within data analytics and machine learning, ensuring compliance and process effectiveness in a regulated aerospace environment. It involves data analysis, defect mapping, root cause corrective action, and applying ML approaches to large datasets, with a strong emphasis on quality metrics and process monitoring.

What you'd actually do

  1. Research contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
  2. Develop sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
  3. Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
  4. Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
  5. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • 1+ year of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
  • 1+ year of experience collecting, organizing and analyzing data
  • Experience in business intelligence or data warehousing development
  • Software programming skills (R, Python, MATLAB, Java, C, or C++)
  • Experience in applying machine learning approaches to large data sets

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a Quality Engineering job role
  • Experience developing root cause corrective actions
  • Certified in Six Sigma / Lean Principles
  • Various ASQ certification
  • Certified Analytics Professional
  • Experience developing data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau or similar)
