This role focuses on building the foundation for leveraging unstructured data across an organization, including identifying, cataloging, extracting insights, and publishing data from various unstructured sources. It involves partnering with teams to define use cases, designing governance frameworks, evaluating emerging AI technologies like NLP, computer vision, and LLMs, and developing business cases and roadmaps. The role also involves mentoring junior members and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the development and implementation of strategies to identify, catalog, extract insights and publish data from unstructured data sources (documents, emails, images, audio, video, and other non-tabular formats)
  2. Partner with technology, data science, and business teams to define use cases and prioritize initiatives that maximize the value of unstructured data
  3. Design frameworks for unstructured data governance, quality, and lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  4. Evaluate emerging technologies (natural language processing, computer vision, and large language models) for applicability to firm-wide unstructured data challenges
  5. Develop business cases, roadmaps, gap analysis and executive-level presentations to communicate strategy, progress, and ROI of proposed initiatives to senior stakeholders

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in data strategy, data management, analytics, or a related discipline
  • excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
