This role manages a team responsible for data center IT operations, site services, and logistics, ensuring the delivery of core infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud services. It involves leading a team, managing operations, collaborating with internal groups, and ensuring stability and quality standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of datacenter activities
  2. Leading and managing a team of high-performing individual contributors and their ongoing talent development
  3. Managing and overseeing datacenter site services, logistics, and deployment
  4. Collaborating and coordinating with multiple internal business groups to ensure the successful delivery of service levels.
  5. Analyzing production operations and initiate corrective actions to ensure operational stability.

Required

  • Must be able to multi-task and project manage many tasks simultaneously.
  • College or university degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience
