Data Center Site Lead

The Data Center Site Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of data center critical operations, ensuring availability, security, and adherence to standards. This role involves collaboration with colocation providers, managing incidents, changes, and vendors related to power and cooling systems, and mitigating operational risks. The lead will also mentor a team and support new data center deployments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the main accountable owner for all matters related to data center critical operations, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders (mainly colocation provider) to ensure operational excellence.
  2. Work hand-in-hand with access management and security systems to adhere to Oracle's stringent data center security standards/policies.
  3. Actively involve in incident, change, and vendor management for data center space, cooling, and power systems.
  4. Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with data center operations.
  5. Oversee and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers.
