Lead a team of technicians responsible for hardware deployments, diagnostics, and decommissions in Microsoft data centers, focusing on performance, KPIs, SLAs, and team development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and develop the team, driving accountability, coaching, and a strong, positive culture
  2. Own data center service compliance and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality standardsEnforce adherence to DCS policies, SLAs, and operational procedures across all service execution
  3. Oversee technician readiness, including training, execution quality checks, and corrective actions
  4. Manage escalations and process changes, ensuring effective resolution and clear stakeholder communication
  5. Champion safety and operational excellence, promoting accountability, compliance, and high service quality across the site

Skills

Required

  • basic knowledge of computer hardware and components
  • experience supporting IT equipment or related technology
  • experience directing, supervising, or managing others
  • written, reading, and conversational English

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience working in a production, mission-critical 24x7x365 data center environment
  • ITIL Foundation
  • ASICS/Inventory Control
  • CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+)
  • Basic Structure Cabling (BSC)
  • Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP)
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Experience leading diverse, technical, or IT workforce of up to ten employees
