This role focuses on developing and delivering training content for data center operations, including mechanical, electrical, and controls systems. It involves using Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate training, assessing learner progress, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure content alignment with operational needs and industry standards. The role requires experience in technical training delivery within critical infrastructure environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.
  2. Deliver in person and e-learning training content for data center operations, covering mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, ensuring clear and engaging presentation to technicians, engineers, and operational staff.
  3. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate scalable, accessible, and interactive training sessions, ensuring content is effectively delivered to diverse audiences.
  4. Monitor and assess learner progress during training sessions, using post-training assessments and feedback mechanisms to evaluate comprehension and skill application.
  5. Collaborate with training development teams and internal stakeholders to ensure training content aligns with operational needs, safety protocols, and industry standards.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in training delivery, facilitation, or learning and development
  • at least 2 years in data center operations, facilities management, or critical infrastructure environments
  • Proven expertise in delivering technical training content for mechanical, electrical, or controls systems in high-stakes environments

Nice to have

  • Strong proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training delivery, learner tracking, and performance reporting
  • Deep understanding of learner engagement techniques, feedback mechanisms, and cross-functional collaboration in data center operations
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and operational protocols to deliver effective and relevant training sessions
  • Willingness to travel to data center sites for training delivery, program support, or stakeholder engagements
