Skills

Required

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, InfoPath, SharePoint, etc.
  • Excellent communication, strong organizational skills and very detailed-oriented
  • Experience working in a corporate environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
  • Practical knowledge of machine learning data processing needs and trade-offs
  • Experience working with prototype assets
  • Experience in research or data collection
  • Experience with any scripting languages and Unix/Linux environment is a plus
  • A good sense of humor, a positive attitude, and great team work skills are a must
  • Experience using MS Office, Excel, Mac OS, Confluence, JIRA, and Wiki tools.
  • Experience in natural and/or simulated data collection environments, including real-world field collection and lab-based or emulated scenarios
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting data collection hardware and software tools
  • Familiarity with command-line interfaces and basic system configuration (e.g., Ubuntu/Linux environments)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment
  • A good sense of humor, a positive attitude and great team work skills
  • Reliable transportation

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • End-to-end, hands-on experience with aspects of data collections (recruiting, moderation, reporting)
  • Experience moderating a 1:1 session with users independently in the field
  • Experience moderating sessions with users of different age and demographics is a big plus
  • Consumer electronic research experience
