This is an internship role for a Data Engineer at Snowflake, focusing on building and scaling data infrastructure and AI-driven automation. The intern will develop technical tools and programming that leverage AI/ML and big-data techniques to manage, store, and utilize data, with a focus on automating data pipeline creation and designing AI/ML-powered applications for automated insights. What you'd actually do

  1. Establishes and builds processes and structures based on business and technical requirements to channel data from multiple inputs, route appropriately and store using any combination of distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other applicable storage forms as required.
  2. Reviews internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggests changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs.
  3. How to develop technical tools and programming that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning and big-data techniques to cleanse, organize and transform data and to maintain, defend and update data structures and integrity on an automated basis.
  4. Design and develop innovative applications that leverage AI and Machine Learning at their core to drive automated insights.
  5. How to Follow best practices to produce clean, efficient and maintainable data pipelines and configurations.
