What you'd actually do

  1. Effectively plan and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams supporting multiple key business initiatives.
  2. Develop and manage data-driven solutions and architectures supporting multiple reports, tools, and systems.
  3. Conduct advanced statistical analysis to yield actionable insights, identify trends, measure performance, and visualize disparate sources of data.
  4. Turn ideas from proof-of-concepts to product while working with engineering teams to optimize factory productivity, customer satisfaction, and attainment of financial targets given a set of constantly changing supply constraints.
  5. Engagement in data governance council to define, develop, and review standards, guidelines, and data models to promote data quality and best practices.

Skills

Required

  • University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Experience in operations, supply chain, data engineering, and/or data analytics
  • Experience using MRP, ERP, and MES systems (SAP preferred)
  • Experience in design, implementations, and optimization in relational SQL databases
  • Experience with data cleansing, curation, mining, manipulation, and analysis from disparate systems (SQL, Python preferred)

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Data Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes using SQL as the foundation
  • Ability to understand complex systems and processes and translate business needs to requirements
  • Knowledge of database structures, modeling implementation such as third normal form.
  • Experience with Python and related libraries such as Pandas for advanced data analytics.
  • Experience with configuration control (GitHub preferred) and DataDevOps practices using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or other deployment pipelines that provide Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
  • Experience with Snowflake Streams, Stages and Snowpipes for data ingestion.
  • Experience with VS Code and GitHub Desktop for integrated development
  • Experience with web application relational database models and APIs.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning methods.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with Manufacturing, Operations, and/or Supply Chain process and systems.
