Salesforce is seeking a Data Governance Specialist AE for their Japan team. This role is responsible for selling complex technical products and services, specializing in a single product or product line, and carrying an overlay quota. The position involves extensive travel to customer locations, partnering with sales and technical teams, understanding customer needs, developing competitive business propositions, and managing sales proposals. The specialist will also be responsible for accurate forecasting, quarterly revenue delivery, and coordinating the launch of use cases on Informatica platforms. The role requires journey-level expertise in the company's products and services, with a focus on complex opportunities and interactions with senior customer decision-makers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for selling complex technical products and/or services.
  2. Uses account planning and management skills to address customer needs timely and with competitive solutions.
  3. Follow up on leads generated by business development, inside sales, marketing and partners and qualify the funnel of opportunities, as well as create new pipeline via prospecting efforts.
  4. Accountable for accurate forecasting and regular quarterly revenue delivery for specialist product area.
  5. Identifies and defines use cases for Informatica products.
