Lead the implementation of data governance strategies and solutions within JPMorgan Chase's Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO). This role involves managing data projects, ensuring data quality and protection, and supporting data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data management and governance, strong leadership skills, and the ability to translate complex data concepts into business strategies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Implement strategic plans to deliver data solutions that effectively support business operations and strategic objectives, to align with organizational goals
  2. Manage the execution of projects and related milestones, understand and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies throughout the project/initiative
  3. Collaborate with key partners to ensure that critical data is well-documented as to its meaning and purpose, and classified accordingly with metadata to enable its understanding and control
  4. Document comprehensive requirements for data sourcing, content and quality, and coordinate with technology and business partners to ensure timely, complete, and accurate data
  5. Develop and oversee processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks throughout the data lifecycle, addressing issues related to data protection, retention, storage, use, and quality
