Netflix is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with ML and causal inference expertise to lead analytics, data science, and strategy for core personalization algorithms. The role involves partnering with product and engineering teams to shape the personalization roadmap and evolve capabilities powered by advanced ML/AI. Responsibilities include leveraging experimentation and causal inference for insights, building robust metrics and measurement frameworks, and exploring trends in content discovery.

  2. Build metrics and measurement frameworks that are statistically and causally robust to empower decision-making for stakeholders and product features that can deliver member joy.
  3. Establish strong partnerships with team members and diverse stakeholders across the business.
  4. Facilitate ownership and accountability by ensuring that the team is producing trustworthy and high-quality outputs that influence the decisions and direction of a variety of areas of Netflix.
  5. Proactively explore trends in content discovery of members to surface future opportunities.
