Data Scientist Associate Senior for Consumer Bank Marketing Analytics to improve customer discovery, opening, and usage of products. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to inform strategy, shape measurement, and translate analysis into data-driven recommendations. Responsibilities include analyzing customer journeys, monitoring platform health, building business intelligence dashboards, providing actionable analytics for marketing strategies, and analyzing A/B experiments. The role requires experience with SQL, Python, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Alteryx, and BI platforms, as well as experience with A/B testing and defining KPIs. Experience in financial services is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Analyze comprehensive customer digital shopping journeys to uncover deep insights, identifying friction points and opportunities to enhance discoverability and conversion and drive personalized and seamless digital shopping experience.
  2. Monitor digital shopping platform health to detect anomalies, partnering with marketing, product, and technology teams to diagnose and resolve issues to mitigate impacts to business results and customer experience
  3. Build and deliver best in class business intelligence through interactive dashboards and executive-level reports on customer engagement and digital shopping funnel health to enable quick decision making and inform marketing, product, and technology priorities
  4. Provide actionable analytics to inform business and marketing strategies for new feature launches and customer journey optimization, partnering with stakeholders to remove friction, boost conversion, and deliver measurable improvements
  5. Partner with Test Design to source data, size digital shopping experiments, and inform the experimentation roadmap; analyze A/B experiment performance and communicate results and recommendations to quad members and senior leadership

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study
  • 3+ years of relevant experience analyzing customer experiences and journeys
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and Python
  • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Alteryx
  • Hands-on experience with behavioral and transactional analytics tools and techniques
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence platforms to deliver dashboards
  • Experience with sizing and evaluating digital A/B experiments
  • Demonstrated ability to define business KPIs and establish measurement frameworks
  • Strong PowerPoint and slide-writing skills to deliver analytical insights
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex analyses into clear narratives for executive, business, and technical audiences
  • Proven ability to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results

Nice to have

  • Experience in financial services and/or other regulated environments
  • Demonstrated experience using AI coding tools (i.e. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cortex) to improve productivity and accelerate insights
