Meta is seeking a Data Scientist to leverage data and business principles to drive large-scale Data Center programs. This role involves defining and developing metrics creation, data collection, modeling, and reporting for operational performance. The Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problem statements, build analytical models, deliver insights, and make recommendations. Responsibilities include defining and tracking business metrics with descriptive and predictive analytics, designing and implementing statistical models (Hypothesis testing, Forecasting, statistical process control, simulation), identifying operational gaps, and providing mentorship. The role also involves leading ad hoc projects to support Data Center strategy.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leverage data and business principles to drive large scale Meta's Data Center programs.
  2. Define and develop the program for metrics creation, data collection, modeling, and reporting the. operational performance of Meta's data centers.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional data and business teams to define problem statements, access and manipulate data, build analytical. models, explain data-gathering requirements, deliver analytics insights, and make recommendations.
  4. Define, compute, track, and continuously validate business metrics with descriptive. and predictive analytics.
  5. Leverage tools like Python, SQL, R, and Tableau for analytics.
