What you'd actually do

  1. Partner closely with Product Managers, User Experience, and Technology teams to solve business and customer problems using data
  2. Analyze customer behavior across the property experience journey, including property content, merchandising, pricing presentation, and conversion performance
  3. Use SQL, Python, R, or similar tools to extract, structure, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources
  4. Frame clear business questions, define success metrics, and connect analysis to product decisions
  5. Design, evaluate, and interpret experiments, including A/B tests, pre/post analyses, and other approaches that help answer product and business questions

  • Demonstrated experience delivering data-driven insights and recommendations that influenced stakeholder decisions or improved business performance
  • Intermediate experience using SQL and either Python, R, or similar tools for data analysis, data transformation, and visualization
  • Understanding of product analytics fundamentals, including framing clear problem statements, selecting the right success metrics, and translating analysis into business action
  • Working knowledge of statistics and probability, including false positives, statistical significance, regression analysis, and analysis of variance
  • Experience designing or analyzing experiments such as A/B tests, with an understanding of experiment design, sample sizing, guardrails, and trade-offs
  • Understanding of common analytical and modeling approaches, including linear regression, logistic regression, and clustering, and the types of data needed to support them
  • Ability to combine data from different sources and create structured datasets or basic workflows to support analytics and modeling
  • Proficient communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and business judgment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize well, and collaborate with distributed stakeholders and teammates
  • Stakeholder management skills and a proactive, can-do approach to problem solving
