This role is for a Data Scientist focused on marketing analytics, aiming to align marketing programs with company goals and user needs. The position involves defining metrics, designing experiments, analyzing results, and building a data-driven marketing culture. While the company builds AI, this role uses AI tools and data to inform marketing strategy, rather than directly building AI models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner closely with marketing, product and commercial teams to understand our products and underlying user needs
  2. Establish north star metrics and guardrails to understand the effectiveness of different marketing interventions
  3. Develop a feedback approach which enables continuous learning and improvement for the teams operating in different marketing categories
  4. Identify hypotheses on marketing initiatives, design experiments or causal inference studies, analyze the results, and make recommendations based on impact to key metrics
  5. Build a data-driven marketing culture from the ground up by establishing foundational marketing analytics best practices and making marketing data more accessible across the company
