Data Scientist, Product Analytics

This role is for a Data Scientist focused on product analytics for Meta's consumer-facing applications. The primary function is to use data to shape product development, identify opportunities, and influence product strategy. While the role requires staying current with AI technologies and integrating AI tools to optimize workflows and drive impact, the core craft is not building AI models but rather using data and analytics to improve existing products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Defining new opportunities for product impact
  2. Influencing product and sales to solve the most impactful market problems
  3. Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to go beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with our growth products
  4. Work as a key member of the product team to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities
  5. Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions and product launches in partnership with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams
