The Data Visualization Associate role on the Marketing Growth & Innovation team in Card Services focuses on developing and implementing data-driven Operations Analytics and Reporting. Responsibilities include collaborating with marketing and data teams, eliciting business requirements, designing data models and pipelines, developing dashboards, and ensuring products align with business objectives. The role requires experience in data analytics, SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Snowflake), and familiarity with cloud platforms and AI integration.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with marketing and data teams to understand business needs and objectives
  2. Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for data and analytics products
  3. Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications
  4. Design and develop data models, data pipelines, and data visualization dashboards
  5. Work with developers and engineers to implement and test data and analytics products

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree along with 4+ years of hands on experience as data analyst
  • Experience in data analytics utilizing advanced SQL using large-scale enterprise database platforms such as Teradata and Oracle required
  • Experience with data analytics tools and techniques (Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Access and Excel skills for data analysis
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with AI integration
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies

  • Demonstrate proficiency with sourcing and compiling data from a tool with Extract / Transform / Load (ETL) capabilities such as Alteryx, Trifacta, Ab Initio or R
  • Creating and deploying reports with a Business Intelligence (BI) tool such as Tableau or Qilk
