Salesforce is seeking a Deal Strategy & Pricing Senior Analyst or Manager to support their Data Foundations portfolio, including integration, API management, and data platform solutions. The role involves partnering with Sales Leadership to structure complex deals, mitigate commercial risk, and drive revenue growth. Responsibilities include advising on strategic transactions, managing negotiations, and collaborating with various departments to optimize contract terms. The position requires strong analytical skills and experience in pricing, commercial strategy, or financial analysis, with a focus on enterprise technology environments and consumption-based pricing models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with Sales Leadership and account teams to structure complex deals that balance growth, margin, and risk.
  2. Act as a large deal advisor on key deals and support the commercial and contractual negotiation process through the deal cycle.
  3. Provide thought leadership on innovative deal structures, manage contractual risk, educate Sales on product offerings, and guide deal strategy by articulating pros and cons while owning final approval decisions.
  4. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Operations and Product management departments to optimise contract terms and close deals
  5. Develop best practices for pricing and business terms, based on the improved use of data and market knowledge to support decisions
