Deal Desk Manager

This role is for a Deal Desk Manager at an AI company focused on enterprise knowledge management. The manager will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations to streamline deal processes, provide strategic guidance, and ensure alignment across teams. The role requires experience in Deal Desk or Revenue Operations within the SaaS/technology industry, proficiency in CRM and CPQ tools, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establish Deal Desk Operations: Develop and implement best practices for deal structuring, approvals, and execution to support scalable growth.
  2. Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Sales team, providing guidance on deal structure, pricing, and contract terms to drive successful outcomes.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure deal processes are efficient and comply with company policies.
  4. Approval Workflow Development: Create and maintain approval workflows, ensuring appropriate visibility and governance over non-standard deals.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the deal process and implement automation or process enhancements to increase efficiency.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations or a similar function within the SaaS/technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of deal structuring, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM and CPQ tools, with a preference for Salesforce experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to balance risk, efficiency, and business goals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and build a function from the ground up in a high-growth environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
