Salesloft is seeking a Deal Desk Manager to join their fast-growing team. The role involves providing deal strategy, pricing guidance, and commercial expertise to support sales teams in driving revenue and velocity. Responsibilities include deal structuring, pricing and discounting guidance, enforcing guardrails, and assisting with process and system improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in deal desk operations, strategic thinking, operational execution, and strong communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deal copilot and close trusted advisor to sales leadership in your assigned territory
  2. Support our International sales teams with deal structuring, price and cost modeling, custom commercial terms and conditions, proposal enhancement, and quoting support
  3. Enforce appropriate pricing, discounting, and commercial guardrails through approvals while providing creative alternatives to drive revenue, unit economics, and high margins
  4. Assist in driving process and system improvements to closure, working in close partnership with our Business Applications, Field Sales, Revenue Accounting, Finance, and Order Management teams. Perform UAT to support these initiatives, as required.
  5. Build bridges and drive process velocity by representing the Deal Desk team on cross-functional projects and initiatives. Perform UAT to support these initiatives, as required.

Skills

Required

  • 2-4 years of deal desk experience
  • Strategic thinker with a relentless focus on execution and operational excellence
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work extended hours during the end of quarter and high volume periods
  • Strong SFDC and Excel skills
  • Knowledge of basic revenue recognition principles
  • Strong presence and communication with Sales and Finance leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience
