Deal Desk Operations & Strategy Lead

Decagon is seeking a Deal Desk Operations & Strategy Lead to join their Pricing team. This role will focus on accelerating and scaling the enterprise go-to-market motion by structuring and proposing deals, building internal deal processes, commercial negotiations, and sales enablement. The ideal candidate will have 6-10+ years of experience in pricing, deal desk, or monetization functions at high-growth companies and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own deal structuring for enterprise opportunities, partnering directly with account executives to build proposals and drive deals to close
  2. Work to develop and refine Decagon's pricing and packaging strategy
  3. Build and scale internal deal desk processes as the company expands
  4. Collect and analyze pricing and deal data to shape company strategy
  5. Partner cross-functionally with Finance and Legal to align on deal economics and contract terms

Skills

Required

  • 6-10+ years of experience in pricing / deal desk / monetization functions at high-growth companies
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you shape solutions as much as you implement them
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator - you've worked regularly with finance, sales and legal teams
  • Strong communicator - both verbal and written

Nice to have

  • Experience building or scaling a deal desk or pricing function at a high-growth or early-stage company
  • Previously led implementation of a CPQ platform
  • Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models in addition to traditional SaaS subscription structures
  • SQL or other data analytics experience
