What you'd actually do

  1. Make decisions on customer agreements marrying creativity, business judgment and licensing principles.
  2. Negotiate pricing, licensing terms, and deal conditions to close deals with Microsoft’s most strategic customers.
  3. Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and other business groups to design winning offers and deal constructs.
  4. Ensure negotiation strategies adhere to established principles and standards and help adapt those principles to the evolving technology marketplace.
  5. Share best practices and coach sales teams to improve Microsoft’s deal-making capabilities and accelerate deal timelines.

Skills

Required

  • Master's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing , or related field AND 6+ years of sales and negotiation experience or related work OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field or related field AND 10+ years of sales and negotiation experience or related work or internship experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated decision making, problem solving, financial acumen and analytical skills in a cross-functional environment.
