Deal Managers are responsible for designing and executing creative licensing solutions and commercial contracts for Microsoft customers, working closely with sales and business teams to increase revenue and profitability, and improve customer satisfaction by accelerating technology adoption. This role requires strong relationship-building, deal analysis, complex scenario simplification, and agreement creation skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide expert knowledge of Microsoft volume licensing programs, negotiation strategies and best practices to increase volume license sales.
  2. Work with key stakeholders to identify/resolve agreement issues and deal blockers
  3. Negotiate with customers on complex terms and conditions to close deals (optimize benefits to MSFT)
  4. Make key decisions by applying business judgment and complex licensing/business principles.
  5. Proactively identify and recommend solutions for improving the agreement development, empowerment guidance, negotiation and sales processes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field
  • 6+ years of sales and negotiation experience
  • Demonstrated decision making, problem solving, financial acumen, analytical and negotiation skills in a cross-functional environment
