Deal Strategy and Pricing Manager

Salesforce is seeking a Deal Strategy and Pricing Manager to provide deal structuring and pricing support for sales verticals, focusing on risk mitigation and identifying improvement opportunities through data-driven insights. The role involves generating solutions to scale deal processes, partnering with sales leadership, developing innovative deal structures, advising on key deals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams like Finance and Legal. The position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with fluency in English and Italian.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner in a trusted adviser capacity to Senior Sales Leadership, the Sales Community and other Internal Partners
  2. Provide thought leadership to develop innovative deal structures, manage risk within the contractual terms and structure and educate the sales team on our latest product bundles and offerings
  3. Act as a large deal advisor on key deals and support the commercial and contractual negotiation process through the deal cycle
  4. Guide sales on the pros/cons of a wide range of deal structures and take ownership of final approval decisions
  5. Develop best practices for pricing and business terms, based on the improved use of data and market knowledge to support decisions

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of professional experience
  • Outstanding analytical background with strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly effective communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively to get results
  • Capable of explaining concepts clearly and credibly across all levels of the organization
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Adept at thinking on your feet amidst ambiguity
  • Proven experience leading and influencing at various levels across the organization
  • Fluency in both English and Italian is essential

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree (i.e. MBA or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in pricing strategy, sales financial analysis. Experience in a strategy/commercial/consulting/pricing/procurement role is also plus
