LangChain is seeking a Deal Strategy & Operations Manager to partner with their sales organization, focusing on efficient deal execution, pricing integrity, and revenue quality. This role involves reviewing and structuring non-standard SaaS contracts, evaluating pricing requests, and collaborating with Sales, Finance, and Legal to expedite deal approvals. The manager will ensure deals are accurately configured, comply with revenue recognition standards, and align with company policies, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

What you'd actually do

  1. Quarterback non-standard deals through the contracting cycle & internal approval processes in collaboration with the appropriate cross-functional teams (Sales Leadership, Legal, Accounting, Billing, Product, etc.) to ensure that all deals align with business strategies and guidelines
  2. Master and help evolve deal policies, including contract terms, pricing & packaging, contractual requirements, etc.
  3. Partner with Account Executives on forming deals, and help translate deal structures to Order Forms for complex deals in partnership with Commercial Legal
  4. Create operational processes, process documentation, and enable Sales Teams on best practices, tools, and workflows to ensure effective deal execution
  5. Monitor and ensure that internal requests are addressed thoughtfully and with urgency
