Role Definition Responsible from order forecast and demand changes with customers. Responsible to make sure requests can be successfully ship on time.
Responsibilities • Supervising and controlling new sales orders, identifying the key elements and communicate downstream for required actions. • Manage customer priorities, high priority back orders, back orders and past due. • Serving as primary contact for customer inquiries; primary escalation process. • Evaluate restrictions to meet the sales plan and communicate impact to Demand planning supervisor.

Level Working Knowledge: • Participates in gathering and analyzing an organization's data based on requirements. • Follows proper data gathering and analysis processes and policies. • Utilizes basic data collection and evaluation tools and techniques. • Reports problems that arise in the data collection process. • Documents data from various sources and in various formats.
Demand Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of Demand Management; ability to effectively sense, predict, plan for and manage the demand for products and services. Level Working Knowledge: • Assists in the collection and preparation of required demand information. • Participates in the preparation of short-term demand management for a specific product or site. • Produces basic demand management reports for senior staff to reconcile the demand balances. • Summarizes and reports problems such as issues and concerns currently existing in demand management operations. • Uses tools, with guidance, to predict and plan demand, assess seasonal factors and trends and effectively influence demand.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Level Working Knowledge: • Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient. • Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness. • Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work. • Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate. • Looks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups.
Forecasting: Knowledge of forecasting tools, approaches and practices; ability to determine product demand and estimate production requirements and loads. Level Basic Understanding: • Identifies common forecasting tools and techniques. • Describes the roles and responsibilities of demand forecasting staff. • Explains sources of information for forecasting demand. • Names several forecasting indexes or measurements.

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
