Demand Planning Lead, Wch & Energy Anz

Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson · Pharma · North Ryde, NSW, Australia

This role leads demand planning, forecasting, and the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / S&OP process for JNJ MedTech Wound Closure & Energy portfolio across Australia & New Zealand. It involves partnering with Commercial, Clinical & Medical Affairs, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and Distribution to deliver accurate, consensus-based demand plans, optimize inventory, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and cross-functional decision-making.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end-to-end demand plan for the Wound Closure & Energy ANZ portfolio — accurate statistical and consensus forecasts that drive theatre service levels.
  2. Lead the ANZ IBP / S&OP rhythm — facilitate demand review, reconcile trade-offs, and secure cross‑functional & executive alignment.
  3. Turn commercial and clinical signals (procedure volumes, tenders, launches, preference shifts) into clear demand scenarios and supply recommendations.
  4. Optimize inventory and replenishment — set targets with Supply & Distribution to minimize excess, expiry risk and working capital while protecting OR availability.
  5. Drive forecasting excellence and change — root-cause analytics, continuous improvement, training, systems upgrades and stakeholder collaboration.
