Northrop Grumman is seeking a Deployable Low Observable Survivability Specialist to perform aircraft survivability analysis, operational employment analysis, and Low Observable diagnostic testing/troubleshooting. The role involves analyzing threat systems, aircraft operations, and Low Observable system performance to identify trends, component defects, and fleet-wide concerns. Subject Matter Expertise in Low Observable related studies, analysis, modeling, and simulations is required, along with participation in process teams to develop system requirements and operational employment plans. This role requires a Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, and involves significant travel and flexible work hours.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will perform aircraft survivability analysis, operational employment analysis and Low Observable diagnostic testing/troubleshooting using support equipment and software tools to isolate anomalies and verify repairs.
  2. Provide threat system analysis, aircraft operations analysis, Low Observable system performance to include fleet signature health using diagnostic test equipment and analytical tools.
  3. Perform analysis on Low Observable data to identify component and system performance trends, identify component defects and identify potential areas of fleet-wide concern.
  4. Provide Subject Matter Expertise for Low Observable related studies, analysis, modeling and simulations.
  5. Participate in various process teams and ad hoc groups to develop Low Observable related system requirements, as well as operational employment plans and concepts.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant LO experience; OR a Masters degree with 0 years of relevant LO experience (Level 2)
  • Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience (Level 3)
  • Able to change physical locations based upon need (including physical ability to travel).
  • Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours.
  • A valid U.S. passport
  • Ability to accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements.
  • Ability to meet medical and vaccination requirements for worldwide travel.
  • Willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
  • Must have an active US Government Secret (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) With the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
  • You must be willing to submit to polygraph.
