Deployed Engineer

This role is for a Deployed Engineer at an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents like Devin and Windsurf. The engineer will be customer-facing, helping customers maximize value from the AI agents by understanding workflows, identifying use cases, deploying into production, supporting integrations, and driving adoption. The role requires a strong engineering foundation, customer empathy, ownership, technical curiosity, bias towards execution, grit, and exploratory rigor. It involves hands-on technical work, customer partnership, and rapid execution in ambiguous, high-intensity environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own all technical aspects of the customer lifecycle—from deployment through activation, making sure our customers are successful using Devin
  2. Work closely with customers to understand their technical challenges and identify the best use cases for Devin to be a productive contributor
  3. Build deep relationships with our customers’ engineering teams to ensure smooth product integration and adoption, activating top users and driving product utilization
  4. Build! Always listen to customer feedback, have a bias towards implementing requested features yourself, and advocate for the customers’ needs with the rest of the team
  5. Be the customer oracle! Exercise your product instincts to help set the roadmap

Skills

Required

  • Strong engineering foundation from a rigorous technical environment
  • Demonstrated track record of exceptional performance
