This role focuses on deploying Palantir's software to solve complex customer problems, particularly within the US Government sector. The Deployment Strategist acts as a bridge between customer needs and Palantir's data-driven solutions, involving data integration, workflow customization, user training, and product feedback. While the role involves using AI tools and platforms like AIP, its core function is product deployment and customer problem-solving, not direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Go onsite and meet with customer analysts to understand the critical questions they need to answer and locate their biggest pain points
  2. Identify relevant datasets through deep engagement with customer problems and workflows, and work with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate the data into a stable and extensible pipeline
  3. Work with the customer to build bespoke workflows for new user groups
  4. Lead training sessions to ensure that the product is meeting user needs, and to ensure it is being used widely enough to have concrete impact on our partners' operations
  5. Present the results of our work and proposals for future work to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives

  • Ability to travel 25 75% required
  • Active US Security Clearance at or above the Top Secret level

  • Experience with programming, scripting or statistical packages (e.g. Python, R, Matlab, SQL)
