Deployment Strategist, Internship - US Government

Palantir Palantir · Enterprise · Honolulu, HI · Echo

This internship role focuses on deploying Palantir's software to solve critical problems for customers, requiring the ability to understand customer needs, analyze data, and translate insights into product solutions. It emphasizes synthesizing information, connecting disparate data points, and driving impact through data-driven decision-making. While the company's products may involve AI, the core of this role is about understanding problems, data, and product needs to enable human decision-making, not directly building or deploying AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Go onsite and meet with customer analysts to understand the critical questions they need to answer and locate their biggest struggles.
  2. Build a case for gaining access to the relevant datasets, and work with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate the data into a stable and extensible pipeline.
  3. Create and lead training sessions to ensure that the product is meeting the needs of a range of users, and is being used widely enough to have concrete impact on our partners' operations.
  4. Present the results of our work and proposals for future work to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives.
  5. Embed with our Software Engineering and Product Design teams to incorporate what you saw in the field into cross-Palantir product offerings.
