Lime is seeking a Deputy Regional Head, Government Relations for Latin America, based in Mexico City. This role will lead efforts to expand Lime's presence in Latin America, focusing on Mexico. Responsibilities include building relationships with government officials, advancing policies, growing the fleet, and managing stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in advocacy, government relations, and navigating municipal politics, with fluency in Spanish and English.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with government leaders at the city, state, and national levels, including agency staff and elected officials; nonprofit and community organizations; business community partners; media; and other prospective partners to effectively carry out Lime’s government relations and public affairs strategy across Latin America
  2. Participate in media interviews and speak at government and community forums; organize, attend, and lead public-facing events in market in both English and Spanish
  3. In partnership with regional leadership, evaluate, prioritize, and implement strategic paths toward maintaining and growing Lime’s operations and fleet across key Latin American markets, with an immediate focus on Mexico and Chile
  4. Collaborate with regional operations, campaigns, and policy leadership teams to develop and execute a long-term government relations strategy aligned with company priorities and key market goals
  5. Collaborate with comms and marketing teams on educational and safety initiatives, advertising and marketing campaigns, and local media activities
