Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Supply Chain Senior Manager for their DePuy Synthes operations in Bogotá, Colombia. This role is responsible for end-to-end supply chain leadership, including planning, customer service, distribution, logistics, and inventory performance. The manager will partner with various teams to ensure reliable product availability and compliant operations, drive operational excellence, and lead transformation initiatives. The role requires progressive experience in supply chain or operations, leadership responsibility, and experience in complex, regulated environments. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and lead end‑to‑end supply chain performance for Colombia, including demand and supply planning, customer service, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  2. Ensure on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) delivery and high service levels to customers while balancing cost, inventory, and risk.
  3. Partner with commercial, finance, quality, and regulatory teams to support business objectives and ensure compliance with local and global requirements.
  4. Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  5. Drive inventory management and working capital optimization, including forecasting accuracy and inventory health.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Progressive experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, or related functions, with leadership responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience managing end‑to‑end supply chain operations in a complex, regulated, or multinational environment.
  • Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with external partners such as 3PLs and distributors.
  • Spanish and English proficiency required.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience leading change management or transformation initiatives within supply chain.
  • Knowledge of regional or global supply chain operating models.
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Demonstrated success in improving service, cost, and inventory outcomes simultaneously.
  • Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience using KPIs to drive performance.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including team development and performance management.
