Boeing is seeking an F-15 Mission Systems Communications and Datalink Integration Engineer to join their F-15 Mission Systems Team in Berkeley, MO. The role involves designing, developing, lab testing, and flight testing new communications capabilities on the F-15 platform. Responsibilities include developing and documenting electronic and electrical system requirements for avionics systems, coordinating integration efforts in an Agile environment, and supporting flight test events. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science field and 14+ years of related experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Works with internal stakeholders and external customers to coordinate execution of ongoing hardware-software integration efforts in a fast-paced Agile environment
  2. Works with USAF customers and aircrew to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for avionics systems.
  3. Receives customer requests and analyzes them with consideration for contractual and technical impacts and translates into actionable system requirements
  4. Participates and coordinates lab tests to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
  5. Support flight test events with data review and problem fixes

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

Nice to have

  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
  • Experience with electronic system design, code and test
  • Experience in developing or integrating Mission Systems for military aircraft
  • Experience with MIL-STD-6016 and Link-16 implementation
  • Experience with Mission Planning requirements
  • Experience with radio waveforms and communications systems
  • Experience with DOORS (or other requirements management tools)
  • Experience with ClearQuest
  • Experience navigating Interface Control Documents (ICD’s)
  • Experience designing requirements with customers and documenting them
  • Experience with data analysis of system data
  • Experience working on an agile team and using Jira
  • Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with MBSE development practices
