Functional Manager for an ECAD Drafting team at Northrop Grumman, responsible for managing a team of drafting professionals and union personnel, overseeing day-to-day workload, interfacing with program teams, conducting performance reviews, forecasting workload, and managing staffing plans, employee development, and hiring. Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience, master’s degree with 3 years of experience, Ph.D. with 1 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical fields
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret Clearance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ECAD design
  • 1 year of experience with people management, leading a technical drafting/design team, including workload management, performance reviews, and employee development/coaching
  • 1 years of experience leading a high performing team (technical, Integrated Product Team Lead, Agile, or functional management)
  • 3 years of experience working with printed wiring board or circuit card assembly design, layout, drawings, or other technical documentation

Nice to have

  • A current/active U.S Government Secret clearance
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics
  • Expertise with Product Lifecycle Management methodologies
  • Experience leading process improvement, or introduction of new tools projects
  • Experience supporting or leading projects and or proposals
  • Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter software
  • Experience with Mentor Expedition and Siemens MPLM/Teamcenter
  • Experience with drafting or document release process
  • Experience with document or version configuration management for hardware specifications
