This role is for a Designer on the Creative Services team at Abnormal AI. The designer will be responsible for creating visual assets across various touchpoints, including campaigns, digital surfaces, social media, events, and brand content. A key aspect of the role is actively integrating and utilizing AI tools within the creative workflow to enhance production, explore creative options, and improve the overall quality and speed of work. The position requires strong design fundamentals, proficiency in design software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. While the company is an AI company, the core craft of this role is design, not AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Produce high-quality design assets across brand touchpoints, including web, campaigns, social, events, and print.
  2. Execute creative across a variety of formats and asset types, working from briefs, established design systems, and creative direction.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, and web partners to deliver cohesive, on-brand creative.
  4. Contribute to web-forward creative execution across digital surfaces and campaigns, demonstrating fluency in how design systems translate to the web.
  5. Actively integrate AI tools into your creative workflow, using them to accelerate production, explore options, and push the work further.

Skills

Required

  • 3–5 years of relevant design experience
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong craft across digital, brand, and campaign work
  • Web fluency
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and similar design tools
  • Strong foundational design skills: typography, color, composition, and visual storytelling
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Nice to have

  • Experience working on AI, cybersecurity, or highly technical brands
  • Motion design skills or experience collaborating with animation teams
  • Familiarity with production workflows for video or experiential design
