Designer, Fashion - Intimate Apparel

Walmart Walmart · Retail · New York, NY

Fashion Designer for Intimate Apparel at Walmart, responsible for the seasonal development process from trend research and ideation to design development, technical execution, and supplier communication. Requires 3-5 years of experience, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and strong organizational skills.

What you'd actually do

  2. Lead the design and development of seasonal intimate apparel collections for our private label brands, from initial sketches through to final samples.
  3. Create detailed sketches, participate in fittings, and source specialty fabrics, laces, and trims. Prepare comprehensive tech-packs, trend decks, and line sheets for internal and external partners.
  4. Partner with cross-functional teams including merchandising, product development, and quality assurance to bring intimate apparel collections to market.
  5. Communicate brand design direction and provide feedback on prototypes to domestic and international suppliers, both virtually and in person.
