DevOps Engineer focused on building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for deploying lowside and highside products, with a specific emphasis on integrating machine learning tasks into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for a public sector client. Requires active TS/SCI clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, develop, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of our lowside and highside products.
  2. Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to enhance existing application code for improved compatibility and streamlined integration within automated pipelines.
  3. Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our deployment systems, bringing new ideas to life for increased efficiency and reliability.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment issues, ensuring minimal disruption to development cycles.
  5. Develop a deep understanding of our product and ML architectures to facilitate seamless integration and deployment.

Skills

Required

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
  • Automation scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Containerization and deployment technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker)
  • Cloud platform familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • CI/CD platform familiarity (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
  • Software architecture and system design
  • Version control systems

Nice to have

  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or Software Engineer with CI/CD focus
  • Experience building or enhancing CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience configuring application code for CI/CD integration
  • Basic understanding of security best practices
  • Familiarity with MLOps concepts
  • Prior experience in classified environments

What the JD emphasized

  • At least an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability & willingness to up level to CI Poly. This is a requirement and candidates will not be considered who do not hold at least a TS/SCI clearance.
