Devops Engineer With Public Trust

This role is for a DevOps Engineer supporting a federal government client with mission-critical IT initiatives. The focus is on planning, design, integration, testing, implementation, training, and transition support for technology solutions. The role involves providing technical and engineering services across the project lifecycle, assisting with project management, conducting system testing, developing training materials, and supporting transition activities. The team is part of Deloitte's Government & Public Services practice, specifically within the US Delivery Center model.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the planning, design, and integration of IT systems and technology solutions.
  2. Provide technical and engineering services across the project lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  3. Assist with project management activities such as coordination, scheduling, status tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  4. Conduct system, integration, and operational testing to validate performance and readiness.
  5. Develop and deliver training and implementation support materials for end users and stakeholders.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2+ years Experience supporting federal IT programs, technology deployments, or enterprise system initiatives
  • 2+ years of IT engineering, systems integration, testing, implementation, and transition processes
  • 2+ years expereince supporting technical planning, documentation, and coordination across multiple workstreams
  • 2+years expereince in project management methods and working in structured government environments

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in collaborative teams to deliver technology solutions in complex environments
