Intern position focused on supporting Caterpillar's digital transformation by developing and optimizing automated business processes using tools like Python and Power Platform. The role involves process analysis, system integration, and digital capability training for employees.

What you'd actually do

  1. Participate in the planning and implementation of the company's intelligent and digital transformation, focusing on the digitalization of business processes and production processes.
  2. Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of OA office automation and business process automation, including but not limited to process analysis, automation implementation, and continuous improvement.
  3. Develop and maintain digital applications and automated solutions based on tools such as Python, Power Apps / Power Automate, to improve business efficiency.
  4. Lead or participate in the construction of digital processes, including process analysis, system integration, data flow design, and document output.
  5. Assist in carrying out employee digital capability training, including tool training, process usage guidance, and digital awareness improvement.

Skills

Required

  • Software Engineering, Computer Science or related degree
  • Strong digital and automation capabilities
  • Familiarity with Python development
  • Good cross-departmental communication skills
  • Strong learning ability, project awareness and continuous improvement mindset

Nice to have

  • Experience in OA automation, process automation, or low-code platform implementation
  • Familiarity or experience with Power Apps / Power Automate (Power Platform) usage or development
