Digital Sales Representative

Twilio is hiring a Digital Sales Representative to drive net new customer acquisition and solution selling within SMB and Mid Market accounts, primarily in Europe. The role involves understanding customer business and technical requirements, positioning Twilio's email solution (SendGrid) and other communication products, and working with internal teams. Requires experience in technical SaaS/CPaaS, understanding of cloud communications, and strong technical solutions selling skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for net new customer acquisition and driving new revenue for a specific territory while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  2. Work with customers across all verticals to understand their business and technical requirements. You will need to understand the capabilities of Twilio’s communications API platform so that, together, you can design a solution for their specific use case needs
  3. Work diligently with cross-functional internal teams (Sales Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Support) to address customer requirements, advise on digital communication strategies, and help customers get started on the Twilio platform
  4. Passion about what you do, able to think outside of the box, and have world-class interpersonal and communication skills to make complex technical and financial details sound simple
  5. Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects/deals at the same time

Skills

Required

  • 5+ year of experience in a technical SaaS/CPaaS space
  • Understanding of the cloud computing/communications business model
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical solutions selling experience
  • High adaptability
