This role is a Digital Solution Specialist for Microsoft's Small Business Segment (SMB) within the Azure Solution Area in ASEAN. The primary focus is on driving Azure adoption and consumption by acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers, leading technical engagements, and guiding them through their digital transformation journey. The role involves sales execution, territory management, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to identify and close new opportunities, ultimately contributing to net-new revenue and workload expansion.

What you'd actually do

  1. This role is part of Microsoft’s Small, Medium, Enterprise & Corporate (SME&C) segment, working primarily with digital natives, enterprises, and small businesses that maintain a direct relationship with Microsoft.
  2. Engages in conversations with customers to introduce how other Azure workloads could enable digital transformation areas that is aligned with the customer's industry and turns opportunities into deals.
  3. Collaborates with team members to discover new opportunities.
  4. Identifies opportunities to drive consumption and grow business with existing customers by initiating conversations, providing demos or quotes, and collaborating with partners or internal teams (e.g., Technical Sales Professionals, global black belts [GBBs]); for licensing transactions and project engagements, ensures rapid and robust deployment plan at point of sale that is validated by services and partners.
  5. Identifies customer business needs and technology readiness.
