This role is for a Digital Solution Specialist focused on Security within the Small Medium Enterprises and Channel (SME&C) sales team at Microsoft. The role involves building digital transformation security strategies with customers, leading consultative conversations, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and partners to drive security opportunities. While the team is described as 'AI-powered' and leverages AI, the core responsibilities of this specialist role are in sales, strategy, and customer engagement within the security domain, not in building or directly deploying AI/ML models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will engage in conversations with customers aligned to their industry and collaborate with account and partner team to drive and qualify new opportunities and build pipeline.
  2. You will leverage digital selling including digital signals to drive customer interests and identify new stakeholders at the customer.
  3. You will identify customer business and technology readiness, proactively builds external stakeholders' mapping, implements strategies to accelerate the closing of deal and opportunities.
  4. You will accelerate opportunities from the Lead stage to closing the opportunity successfully in a strong seller to seller alignment with our key security partners.​
  5. You will apply role orchestration model and navigates the Microsoft organization to bring the best impact to the customer.​

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • Cybersecurity industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex, cloud-based solutions to Enterprise customers.
  • Proven sales experience.
  • Proven self-starter able to work towards delivery of goals as best practices are being developed.
  • High interest into the topic. Able to drive security conversations and conduct product/solution demonstrations.
  • Solid understanding of security market and complete solutions.
  • Experience in working with and through partners.
  • Fluent spoken German and English.

Nice to have

  • Microsoft security portfolio knowledge preferred.
