This is a sales role for a Digital Territory Account Manager at F5, focusing on selling enterprise technology solutions including AI, application delivery, cloud, and cybersecurity. The role requires German and English fluency, experience in technology sales, and the ability to generate new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and achieve assigned sales targets within a defined territory by developing and executing strategic territory and account plans to grow pipeline and revenue.
  2. Identify, prospect, and engage prospective customers and key stakeholders through outbound prospecting, lead generation, account-based selling, and territory engagement activities.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with German-speaking customers and channel partners through virtual meetings, presentations, negotiations, and ongoing engagement in both German and English.
  4. Manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, from qualification to contract closure, while maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce.
  5. Collaborate closely with channel partners, marketing, sales engineering, and leadership teams to generate demand, position F5 solutions effectively, and accelerate sales growth.

Skills

Required

  • 3–5 years of experience in technology sales, digital sales, business development, inside sales, or account management, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Professional fluency in German and English, with excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven experience generating and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, account-based selling, and structured sales processes.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple opportunities, priorities, forecasting, and pipeline activities using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Customer-focused and self-motivated professional with strong problem-solving, organisational, and collaboration skills, along with a passion for technology and sales.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling technology solutions such as SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, AI, or related software and infrastructure technologies is preferred.
  • Experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models to generate pipeline and revenue opportunities.
