Direct Account Manager for CyberSource UK & Ireland, responsible for managing a portfolio of merchant accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role involves commercial ownership, client relationship management, and internal coordination, with a focus on effective use of automation and AI-enabled capabilities.

What you'd actually do

  1. managing a defined portfolio of merchant accounts
  2. Revenue targets will reflect the existing revenue base and identified growth and upsell opportunities within your portfolio
  3. Non-financial objectives will focus on client satisfaction, effective use of automation and AI-enabled capabilities, and improvements in operational efficiency
  4. regular engagement with clients, acting as the primary commercial point of contact, and representing client requirements internally
  5. lead all commercial discussions for your accounts, ensuring clear ownership and accountability across pricing, contract discussions, and growth initiatives

Skills

Required

  • Experience in payment acceptance, with strong exposure to card-not-present and eCommerce environments
  • Solid understanding of payment gateway solutions and common merchant challenges
  • Proven experience managing senior client stakeholders with credibility and professionalism
  • Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, commercial environment with a focus on value-led selling

Nice to have

  • Experience working for a Payment Service Provider in an account management or sales capacity
  • Proficient in the use of CRM systems and performance reporting dashboards
