This role is for a Direct Sales Agent Specialist focused on selling insurance products (auto, home, accident, health, etc.) directly to consumers. The primary responsibilities include driving new business sales, cross-selling to existing customers, building customer rapport and trust, and managing a book of business. What you'd actually do

  1. Drives new business sales and understands customers’ needs to build rapport and trust.
  2. Drives sales and builds and retains their book of business within the market / retail location.
  3. Attracts and generates new customers and cross-sells existing customers, in support of our product offerings including but not limited to Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
  4. Sells to walk-in customers, markets products outside of the office via marketing calls and in-person visits creating community relationships to promote continued growth and assists customers in the office.
  5. Monitors key competitors in the local market area and makes suggestions on initiatives that could improve the company’s position in the marketplace.
